Fireworks Night by Train

Halloween is over, but the fun needn’t stop there…dig out those thermals, as bonfire night is almost here! There are 27 major events taking place across the UK this week, so you’re bound to find one near you. Here’s a handy guide from us to help you find the perfect spot.

Lewes bonfire night – 5th November 2015
Perhaps the oldest, most famous of all displays in the UK, a visit to this tiny in East Sussex will always be one to remember.  Head to the town centre before 5pm to get your spot at this ever-popular celebration. You can find out more over on our website

Nearest railway station: Lewes

Alexandra Palace – 7th November 2015 with gates open at 3pm and fireworks kicking off at 8pm.
Views don’t come much better than this. Alexandra Palace sits high up above London and provides some of the most amazing spots to watch the many different firework displays across London from afar. This year promise an even bigger and better display with an “epic light show” and German beer festival to boot! What’s not to love?

Glasgow Green Fireworks – 4th November 2015, gates at 5pm and display begins at 7.30pm
Pyrotechnics, a funfair, food entertainment and 3,000 fireworks, this is one of Scotland’s best displays on our humble opinion and around 50,000 people would agree with us!

Bristol’s Family Friendly Fireworks Night – 5-7th November 2015, fireworks at 5.45pm
If you prefer your fireworks night to have a little less ‘bang’ for the more sensitive souls of the family, then Bristol zoo’s low-noise display is perfect for you. There’s plenty to do, with fun and games before the display to make the most of this gentler display.
